We'd be elsewhere for dinner but the idea of a nightcap crept into the journey home. And so we found ourselves in Lower West Side. From the moment we walked in it was obvious my friend was a treasured member of this lovely village. Nightcap turned into nightcaps. Drink and chatter flowed at a steady pace. By the time we left, I felt like I had a temporary pass as a local and I could not have been prouder of that. You can probably buy the sort of food and drink found here at hundreds of places across Melbourne. But there's only one that I now know of where it's served with the kind of local love that makes it priceless. Bother to seek out Lower West Side, it's more than worth it. ”

A lovely menu with lots of sharing options as well as more substantial protein options if you wish. Lovely ambiance and beautiful service.
